Off the top of my head, I sit here and write
Sometimes these blogss, have to be tight

Good grammar and content, packed with info
Sometimes I just really, want to spit though

Not at people, these poems and rhymes
They help me process, tumultuous times
–
I’ve loved music, since they called me Johnny B
Been into Hip-Hop, since nineteen ninety-three
–
The worst thing happened, it’s tattooed in my head
My homies Tony and Jimbo, they gone they dead
–
I lost my love for music, it was buried with them
Along with most of life, chopped off at the stem
–
When I was at my darkest, and really really low
It was fitness and nutrition, got me back on my toes
–
Gave me a purpose, to change the way life was done
Even inspired my friend, to stop eating cinnamon buns
–
Don’t get me wrong, it moved me forward toward my dream
I just didn’t look ‘under the hood’, and busted at the seams
–
My mindset was undeveloped, and immature at best
It wasn’t just getting better, after my guys laid to rest
–
Emotions poured out on others, in all the wrong ways
Couldn’t get my shit together, for hundreds of days
–
I didn’t believe it was possible, till I saw people do it
Gave me the evidence needed, now I could prove it
–
To myself that is, in order to actually make it real
Created a space for others, who wanted to heal
–
We call it Bair Knuckle Strength, a BADASS place
Where you can come, and be a recognizable face
–
We don’t just sweat, and do silly trendy crap
That stuff doesn’t work, it’s a marketing trap
–
You gotta put in the work, and be willing to grow
However there’s not much else, you need to know
–
If you’re ready to unlock, your music and play
Get your fitness and nutrition, together today

The key is your mind, I hope you know when
To stop doing it yourself, keep that puppy open

We’re here for you, we’ve gone through the fire
We’re your buckets of water, we’ll go wire to wire
