Is it really possible?

My hope for you is that which was in your control this past weekend, was wonderful … in whatever way you wanted it to be.

For many, however, it probably wasn’t wonderful, and maybe even bordered on horrible.

There are many reasons for this, including unforeseen events that are out of our control, like a typhoon hitting your house … or something …

Yet, there tends to be a common thread among those that are chronically unhappy, or lacking joy.

Are you ready for it?

Here it is …

They don’t know they have a choice.

Happiness is …

Not something that happens to you.

Not something that’s given to you.

Happiness is …

Something that you choose to experience.

Something nobody can take from you … unless you give them your power.

You see, I get people who come in to the gym these days … and tell me I’m lucky to have my health!?!?

That they could never see themselves doing the things that I do.

Which always gets me scratching my head, because the things that I do, are very human things, which ALL humans CAN do with a little effort over time.

And I’m certainly not lucky … unless the definition of lucky is busting your ass in the dark for 20+ years building a body that no longer is a limiting factor … then yea, I’m REAL lucky …

I know so many who went to college, spent 4 years or more on their brain, getting their degree, only to piss away their health as they built their careers and family life.

And it baffles me when someone is unwilling to put in the same amount of effort to earn BACK their health, as they did to earn their degree.

You see, Health is Happiness.

Health, like Happiness, is a choice.

Lots of little choices over time, that compound … like the interest in a savings account.

Your health is possible, if you want it.

You don’t have to know what to do.

You don’t have to be perfect, as you do it.

You just have to show up … and keep showing up for as long as it takes.

Can you do that?

It doesn’t matter if I believe you can … (which I do … and KNOW)

Do you believe it’s possible?

Because if you don’t … you’re right.
