Ready to know Why?

I want to share the importance of going deep.

Have you ever been asked ‘why’ you do something?

It’s my go to question.

  • “Why do you want that goal?”
  • “Why aren’t you already at that goal?”
  • “Why that goal in particular?”
  • “Why is that goal important?”
  • “Why do you have goals?”
  • “Why don’t you have goals?
  • “Why … Why … Why?”

You get the idea.

So, why am I sharing this?

To show you why I do, what I do.

I’ve learned that the best teacher is past experience.

The whole point of this BADASS blog, is to share what I’ve learned through my experiences, in hopes you’ll find something you can apply to your own life.

There isn’t a linear path to the goal that everyone can hop on and get to the ‘end’ …

Life doesn’t work that way, and yet, we all still search for the easiest way, the path of least resistance … and I think that’s flawed.

It’s human nature to preserve energy and focus on survival.

Those things are necessary, yet, leave us wanting more.

We no longer live in a ‘survival’ time period where Mastodon’s roamed outside our doors and we weren’t sure if we’d get a meal that night, let alone live to see the next day.

Why?

Evolution … ish

We’ve used our brains and our bodies cohesively to build a better brand of human.

We live longer.

We have more freedom.

We have the ability to be healthier.

And yet, people suffer more now, maybe than at any time in history.

They do it willingly.

Why?

Because they don’t know their why …

So today, I will share with you 7 layers of my why, in hopes you can extract something from this exercise and do it yourself.

I got this exercise from Dean Graziosi and his book Millionaire Success Habits.

Why?

Because my own Financial Success has been the ‘Final Frontier’ for me to conquer.

Most people build their wealth while neglecting their health AND spend their wealth to rebuild their health.

I neglected my wealth to build my health and will build my wealth BECAUSE of my health.

In the book, Dean asks us: “Why are you reading Millionaire Success Habits”

Based on each answer, we then go a little deeper until that magic 7th layer.

Why?

Because I said so 😉

Here we go …

1. Why am I reading Millionaire Success Habits?

  • I want Financial Freedom

2. Why is Financial Freedom important?

  • Allows me to grow my family and impact more people

3. Why is it important to impact more people?

  • To raise the level of human consciousness

4. Why is it important to raise the level of human consciousness?

  • Because we will all benefit more from ‘being the change’ rather than ‘waiting for the change’.

5. Why is ‘being the change’ important?

  • When you know yourself and are no longer encumbered by the restraints of self-limitation, you can truly serve selflessly and lead by example.

6. Why is it important to know yourself and serve others?

  • Because it takes you from being a liability to others, and turns you into an asset FOR others.

7. Why is it important to be an asset?

  • When you read my book: Rise, you’ll understand that I was a liability. I did not know myself. I caused pain and hurt. I let my brother down. I let many others down. Realizing this truth made me cry, it hurt so bad. I made a choice to change and I’ve done the work so that I will ALWAYS be an asset. In order to do that, I’ve had to let my dark past serve a brighter future and stop telling myself the same painful, debilitating stories which were ‘dimming my light’. In order to shine, I had to write a new one, and it’s ready for you to read.

Do you see why I’m so purposeful about what I do?

You would be too if you knew what was driving you.

Getting to that 7th layer, was where my why stopped being superficial, and became emotional.

When you can tie that kind of emotion to your ‘why’ and make it your purpose in life, you’ll NEVER have to pull the covers over your head, or wish for things to be better, because you’ll know that you have the power to choose your outcome based on your actions, and you will LEAP out of bed in the morning ready to CRUSH your day … EVERY DAY … for the rest of your LIFE

Your misery … will fade.

And if I’m being 100% honest with you … I do what I do so that I can be around more HAPPY and WELL-ADJUSTED people who care more about SERVING and less about complaining and whining.

I’m tired of you miserable people … and I’m coming to DESTROY you!!!
