Yesterday was 12 years to the day that my brother took his own life.
It was the worst day of my life …
No matter what I do, the memory doesn’t go away.
The pain … I move forward, despite it’s attempts to cripple me.
Some days are harder than others.
Some months drag on … like October …
It’s ok.
I’ve learned from this.
I’m still here for a reason.
My purpose in life, was born from this pain.
Though I’d give it all up to see my brother alive, I have the opportunity to be better today, than I was for him way back when.

I know sometimes my sh*t can get heavy, and I’m ok with that.
Life isn’t all cupcakes, rainbows and puppy dogs.
It’s why I wrote my book, Rise.
So the story would stop swirling in my head, and I could let it serve others.
Because I just want you to know that no matter what you’ve gone through, you can move forward.
You can heal.
And you can help others do the same, because you’re BADASS!
