There are great transformation stories everywhere.

It could be a celebrity … or it could be your neighbor or co-worker.

There are successes all around you.

Do you know what they have in common?

They all used age-defying methods to lose weight—and keep it off.

Weight loss doesn’t have anything to do with fad diets…intense exercise programs…or depraved caloric restrictions.

It’s about being smart about your weight loss.

Here are some tips for losing weight and improving your health.

These tips aren’t revolutionary…but if you follow them, they will do EXACTLY what you want them to do: Help you lose weight and build your “ideal body.”

Apply these tips each day (or week) and I can bet you will see some big changes in your body.

Here are 3 tips to get you started:

1. Develop Good Habits

Before you can start losing weight, or even an exercise program, you need a plan—or a roadmap to your ideal body.  You need a starting point (where you are now) and an endpoint (where you want to be).

Once you have your plan in place, it’s time to plan out the steps to get you there.  This is something that we often talk about during our initial meetings, and is, by far, the most important step to reaching your goals.

2.  Keeping A Journal

Now that you have your plan, and the steps to get there, it’s important to have a journal handy to keep track of your success or failures.  Keeping a daily journal allows you to evaluate, and see where you can improve to maximize your results.

For example, you’re starting to plateau, but don’t know why.  You can look back to see where you may not have made the best choices—or you overdid it one day.

3. Follow the 80/20 Rule

The 80/20 rule is one of the easiest rules to implement.  If you’re eating and exercise (according to your plan) 80% of the time, you’re going to be successful.

It’s an unreasonable demand for anyone to follow everything perfectly for the rest of your life.

These are a few tips you can use to get started on your fitness and weight loss journey today, {first_name} 🙂

Keep pushing– implement these tips–and you will be successful!

P.S. Here are 4 more ways you can become happier and healthier:

1. Podcasts

Some of the greatest insights and healing for me, have come from listening to podcasts in the last few years. This long-form type of communication, I’ve found, has been extremely important for understanding context, while learning how to make sustainable change.

That’s why I have started to find ways to get our story on some podcasts, and give you an opportunity to really go deep with us, and see what we’re all about. That way, you can decide if this tribe fits your personality. Click the link below to go to our podcast page, where you can find all our episodes!

2. Rise

Rise is the story of ‘never feeling powerful … to … never feeling powerless’. It’s about John Bair’s life, why he does what he does and how his suffering created happiness.

This handwritten book takes you through an intimate, yet, self-revealing journey, which allows you to implant yourself into the story, as it relates to your own, and reveal the steps you’ll need to take, in order to make change a successful reality.
