Ideal Nutrition

Before you can start building your ideal body, you may need to first look at your diet, to make sure you’re eating what that body requires, not hoping.

If your nutrition isn’t on point, then everything you do from here on out could be pointless.

Even I’ve decided to go down this rabbit hole further, to learn how to eat the best for me, so I can have the energy I want and need, all day.

Here are few ways to maximize your nutrition for better overall results:

1. Understand Your Macro Nutrients

Most of us all know that foods contain Protein, Fats and Carbohydrates. What many don’t know, is how to actually get the proper combinations of these foods, every day, to keep them energized and productive for their relationships, parenting, work, education, etc, without feeling guilty, and without adding fat or weight. This step is crucial.

2. Eat More Fiber-Rich Foods

Fiber is one important nutrient when it comes to losing weight and keeping your appetite under control.  Fiber helps slow digestion, maintains blood sugar and insulin levels, and may help you stay regular.  You should have at least 25 to 35 grams of fiber each day.   The best sources of fiber include: fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

3. Protein—The Building Block

You want to keep your muscle?  Then you need to include more protein in your diet.  Protein provides the materials your body needs to build lean muscle mass.  If you’re working out, then you want to make sure that those efforts aren’t going to waste.  Not only does protein build lean muscle mass, it satisfies your appetite, which prevents you from feeling hungry and curbs the urge to eat more.

If you’re going to reach your performance goals, you need to look at, and maybe change your mindset in the kitchen for optimal results.

That’s all I have for you today.
