Had enough?

I spent Saturday afternoon/evening with Jackie and on Sunday, we went to my sisters baby shower and housewarming!

My sister is having another boy, and they have his name picked: Marshall.

So, I will have a Maclin and a Marshall soon … M&M!!

2 nephews for this uncle, and I’m excited about that!!!

Add it to list of reasons I choose to lift, eat well, sleep a lot and delete B.S. from my life.

I want to play with those dude in the future … and whoop their butts for awhile!

This past week, we had a wonderful young woman come in to have a conversation about membership.

She was filling me in on why she was wanting to make some changes.

After a few questions, essentially, she’d let me know that she had ‘had enough’ of the status quo of feeling anxious and incapable.

A big reason for her wanting to change, was the thought of becoming a mom in the near future.

She also has some small family members in her clan that she wants to play with, and keep up with, as well.

She wants to feel ‘capable’ in her future, and help her husband ‘carry heavy things’.

I immediately smiled when I heard her say that, because it totally felt right for her goal(s).

I could see it in her eyes.

Enough was enough.

And she was brave enough to come talk to me about doing things differently.

It terrified her …

Yet, the thought of staying the same now caused more pain, than the pain of finding what works better for her.

Sometimes it’s a death, like it was for me, that forces you to re-evaluate the way you do your life.

Sometimes it’s cancer, disease or becoming a parent/grandparent that gets you off your bum and exercising to keep up.

Whatever it is, I’ve learned, it’s better if you do it proactively and not wait, or be forced.

However, it’s why so many people don’t change.

It’s not easy when you don’t know where, or how to start.

So …

May I ask, have you had enough?

If not, no worries, we’ll keep in touch.

If yes, please reply in the comments with the subject line ‘CHAT’, if you feel ready, to have a conversation about what you need … no pressure.

Have a BADASS week!

P.S. Here are 4 more ways you can become happier and healthier:

1. Podcasts

Some of the greatest insights and healing for me, have come from listening to podcasts in the last few years. This long-form type of communication, I’ve found, has been extremely important for understanding context, while learning how to make sustainable change.

That’s why I have started to find ways to get our story on some podcasts, and give you an opportunity to really go deep with us, and see what we’re all about. That way, you can decide if this tribe fits your personality. Click the link below to go to our podcast page, where you can find all our episodes!

2. Rise

Rise is the story of ‘never feeling powerful … to … never feeling powerless’. It’s about John Bair’s life, why he does what he does and how his suffering created happiness.

This handwritten book takes you through an intimate, yet, self-revealing journey, which allows you to implant yourself into the story, as it relates to your own, and reveal the steps you’ll need to take, in order to make change a successful reality.
