Thanksgiving Resolution

I was sitting in my studio this past weekend, when an old client of mine stopped back in to say hi.

It was great to see him and we got to talking.

He let me in on the fact that he’d been dealing with some health issues recently, and wanted to let me know he hadn’t ‘ghosted me’, rather, just the opposite, he wants back in.

After the scare he had in his youth with testicular cancer, he’s understood the importance of staying active and healthy, as by doing so, he was able to feel better after the effects of chemotherapy.

He knows he hasn’t been as consistent this past year with exercise, and he is attributing the fact that he’s felt more lousy this year, to his lack of exercise.

So we talked about a few things for him to think about, and he turns to me and says “This is my Thanksgiving resolution to myself John, I know I need to take care of me.”

I love that he isn’t waiting till the New year, he’s ready now, and he’s going to get started because he knows it’s important now 🙂
