New Year, New Classes!!!

Did you hear that we have added NEW Classes here at Bair Knuckle Strength?

That’s right!

We’ve added a Restorative Class.

We’ve added a BEAST MODE Class.

Here’s how our program now works.

  1. Restorative Classes are designed to help you restore overall health, and move well in your Body.
  2. Group Classes are designed to help you move often, lean out and get freaky strong!
  3. BEAST Mode classes are designed to stack BADASS skills on top of that foundation.
    They all work together.
  • Some people solely do Restorative, as they rehab and prepare for Group Classes.
  • Some people do Restorative on their off days from Group Class.
  • Some have ascended to sprinkling in a BEAST MODE class, to supplement their Group Classes.

Next post will show you the standard pre-requisites, in order to be accepted into the BEAST MODE Class (Group Class prepares you for it).

Today we will discuss the Restorative Class.

What is restored exactly, is dependent on what YOUR body actually needs.

This is NOT a class to go and ‘feel good’ for an hour, stretch everything out and then the next day you’re right back in the same spot, or worse – TIGHTER!?!?

Just because ‘it’s tight’, doesn’t mean you should stretch it …

As the world-famous Spine and Back Pain Professional, Dr. Stuart McGill stated, while I was working with him this past summer …

Some have found that breathing properly has improved their tight hamstrings, painful back and restored their balance.

Others found that concentrated mobility work, relieved pains in the neck (kids and in-laws excluded 😉

While others still, found that by learning to be stable and ground their bodies, it helped them restore to a healthier, non-painful place.

Every day, you’ll come in and check 3 or 4 baseline movements.

Then class starts, and after each restorative exercise, we re-check the movements to see what YOU needed and what helped YOU move and feel better.

Every class has a theme.

  • Some days it’s breathing.
  • Some days it’s mobility.
  • Some days it’s stability.
  • Some days it’s gait.
  • Some days it’s balance.

You get the idea.

Even though this looks like a strength movement (it is), her body is having to re-establish stability of her left (injured) shoulder and right hip as the mace moves out and up, engaging her entire body, and bringing all the muscles to the party

… Which RESTORES her body to a neutral, healthier place!

The BEST part is, you can DROP-IN to any Restorative or BEAST MODE class and come check us out, without a risk.

In fact, I’ll remove even more risk and say that, if you show me this post, your first class is ON ME … (just reply and tell me when you want to come)

We do not offer DROP-INS like that in our Group Classes.
