Interesting questions to ask ourselves

One of the greatest things you can do for yourself, is sit down and really get to know yourself.

You know, like if you were going out on a date, and really wanted to get to know the other person across the table, except the other person is you.

You might have some questions that could lead to great conversation, or, you could ask questions that end up letting you know that you don’t want to ask any more questions, lol.

Have you ever sat down and really asked yourself some questions to get to the bottom of your truth?

I hope you have, but if not, here’s another chance.

I’ll lay out some questions that I’m genuinely interested in knowing your answers to, so, this is as much for me, as it is for you.

When you get done reading them, just hit reply and put your answer under the question, or whatever way you wish, ok?

What is one breakthrough you’d like to make?

It could be going for that promotion, taking your business to another level, strengthening your marriage/partnership, finding the person of your dreams, talking with your kids better, getting out of debt … anything.

It doesn’t have to be fitness related, but it certainly can be.

What is an area of your life where you feel stuck and really want to make a breakthrough?

How much would that be worth to you?

If you knew you could get unstuck and have that breakthrough, what would you pay for it?

These questions certainly bend the mind if you let them.

If you knew you would succeed, what would you be doing differently than you are currently?

Like, if you knew you couldn’t fail, what would life be like for you, what’s different?

How much time would you invest to achieve that breakthrough?

I hear people say they are stuck, and not wanting to be, but the actions they take and the results they’ve gotten, would tell me otherwise, like their bank account.

At the very least, how we spend our time and money shows what’s most important to us…

Stop and really think about that …

If money is tight, how are you spending your time when you’re not working to pay the bills?

Is it on personal development, learning a new skill that will earn you more money, improving your fitness so you can be more focused and productive?

Or are you reading fiction or watching TV?

No judgement, it’s not my time your spending.

Just, we all have the same amount of time.

24 hours a day, 168 hours a week … etc.

If time is tight, take a hard look and see where your time is being spent…

Even on those things you “have to do” – do you really have to do them, or are they a choice?

And, if they’re a choice, GREAT!

Just understand that when we choose to spend our time on one thing we’re also choosing not to spend our time on something else, which is fine if it takes you where you want to go.

Oh, and whenever you can, buy some time… I really didn’t feel like getting my PhD in Nutrition, so instead, I hired a Coach who has his PhD in Nutrition, and he’ll squeeze all that time he spent learning, into a year for me … so much faster that way.

My point is, we all (myself included) need to check ourselves every now and then when we make excuses for being stuck, especially related to time and/or money.

It’s like saying you’re too busy to work on your marriage or relationship, and wondering why it falls apart.

Or you ‘can’t afford’ to get help with your fitness program and keep wondering why you get hit with medical bills, or lose paid time because you’re always getting sick, or don’t have the energy to make that breakthrough you said you wanted.

Can you really afford not to be healthy(er)?

No, is the answer you’re looking for …

Ever been ‘too busy’ to take a pee and find yourself doing the pee-pee dance? ;-b

The reason I’m asking these questions is to learn more about your mindset, and what would be something I could put together to help eliminate those gaps for you and see you breakthrough.

Something like a Mindset/Breakthrough Challenge, where we systematically destroy the false limiting beliefs you have, and really get to know yourself, and take yourself on dates all the time!

Because you’re worth it.

So, I’d truly appreciate your feedback, as in reality, it’d be for your benefit, not mine …

I’ve had hundreds of breakthroughs in recent years, am on point for another (first visible 6 pack boy!) and will have another after that, and another, and another … because I know what I want and how to get there … it’s my ‘job’ (that chose me). 😉

You can have them too!
